In October 2018, Marco competed in a Canada wide pizza competition, and won second in the open category.

In March 2019, Marco went on to compete in Las Vegas for the International Pizza Challenge, and won second international in the non-traditional division!

Marco competed with the DESIDERIO, which is a truffle paste based pizza, with sautéed mushrooms, in house made sausage, mascarpone and mozzarella cheese
